HOW MUCH WILL MY PROJECT COST? AND HOW DOES THE DESIGN PROCESS WORK?
After an initial discussion about the services you would like, we will ask you a List of questions during our meeting. Your answers help us to better understand your style and needs, and they also help to guide the design. We’re Agile ! That is, we practice the agile method, an effective strategy for project management. You’ll be involved throughout the process. So, you always know the direction that your project is headed in.
Each project is different, so we need to know a little more about your needs before we can provide an estimate. After the First consultation, we can give you a few options. You’ll be able to choose the right solution for you and your budget. A price quote is valid for 30 days, after which time it is subject to review.
IF I CAN DESIGN MY SITE, CAN YOU HELP CREATE IT?
Yes. We enjoy working with artists to turn their designs into functional websites!
WILL THERE BE A CONTRACT TO SIGN?
Once the services and prices have been determined for your project, a simple contract will be created and sent (via email) to you. Please print and sign the contract and return it by mail or email it back to us. We must receive a signed contract plus a 50‰ deposit before work can begin. All Projects under 1,000 euros / dollars are paid in full before being booked into our schedule and work begins.
WHAT ABOUT PAYMENT?
We accept only bank transfers or you may pay by check. You’ll find all our updates easy to understand, and the Terms and Conditions in your contract are to the point. Our payment terms vary per project, and depend on many factors. However, the general rule-of-thumb contains Three payment phases: The first 50%, second 30%, with the final 20% being paid upon project completion. The second payment is spread between milestones during the project. All Projects under 1,000 euros / dollars are paid in full before being booked into our schedule and work begins.

CANCELLATION… CAN I CANCEL A PROJECT?
Yes, however, once a payment or deposit is made, it is non-refundable. If a project is canceled or postponed, all amounts paid are retained by the Ardephwerk and, when applicable, a fee is assessed for all work performed pursuant to the contract terms, and beyond what was already paid by the client. In case of project cancellation by either the client or Ardephwerk, ownership of all copyrights and original artwork is retained by Ardephwerk. Pending fees for our work, according to the amount of time already spent on the project, and all expenses incurred will be paid by the client.
DIFFICULTY OF PAYMENTS
If we receive a credit rejection or a payment dispute from a credit card company or bank, your services and / or project will be suspended without notice and a 50-euros / -dollar fee, plus any costs accrued as a result of the chargeback(s) must be paid in full before service is restored, the files are sent, or any other work is performed. Please contact us to resolve any billing issues and be sure to read and understand our refund policy before making any payment. All invoices are due within 30 days of receipt of the final invoice. A 1.5% monthly service charge will be charged on all overdue balances. The granting of any licenses or copyrights are contingent on receipt of full payment.
OWNERSHIP OF THE ARTWORK
Ardephwerk retains ownership and copyrights of all original artwork, or any parts used for the project until payment has been received in full. Upon receipt of full payment for all services, property/materials and coded images created by the graphic designers and artists from Ardephwerk are transferred to the client for use in the project for which they were created. The customer does not receive the right to redistribute these graphics or code. The rights of photos, graphics, font, source code and software owned outside of the Ardephwerk are not transferred to the client, and remain the property of their respective owners (Stock photo, font, content management systems, etc.). Ardephwerk and Rachael Hampton reserve the right to use the completed project for the purpose of marketing and demonstration of work in a portfolio. Any preliminary designs (Drafts) not used for the client’s project may be used by the Ardephwerk in future projects for other clients.
ALL SOURCE FILES REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF ARDEPHWERK AND RACHAEL HAMPTON.
COMMUNICATION BETWEEN CLIENT AND ARDEPHWERK
If you stop responding to communications in the form of email for a period of 30 days during the process of the design and development, the project will be canceled without notice, any sum paid will be forfeited to Ardephwerk, and the contract will become void. All projects reinstated afterwards will depend on the availability of Ardephwerk, and will be re-negotiated based on current rates for the remaining services. Also, please be advised that in order to proceed promptly with your project, we must remain in constant communication. The project’s deadlines and milestones are based on a response-time of 48-hours from both parties, any delays in response from the client will extend the completion / delivery date(s) by the amount time equivalent to the delay in communication, and Ardephwerk will not be held responsible or liable for those delays.
PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY, ILLUSTRATION AND FONTS
When submitting professional photographs, illustrations, and fonts for use in your project, you will also need to provide signed authorization from the photographer or artist allowing you and us to use the photographs in all designs we create for you.
The Customer warrants that any text, graphics, photos, drawings and designs, trademarks, or other artwork provided to Ardephwerk for inclusion in the project are the property of the client or the client has the express permission of the legitimate owner to use each item. The client will hold harmless Ardephwerk and Rachael Hampton, thus protecting and defending Ardephwerk and Rachael Hampton and their subcontractors from any claim or action arising from use of these elements provided by the client.
REVISIONS, FINAL DRAFTS AND PROJECT DELIVERY
It is agreed that it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure there are no typos, spelling, or grammatical errors contained in the final product. Neither Ardephwerk, nor Rachael Hampton is responsible or liable for any errors in the final product after the customer’s final approval.
You represent that you are of legal age to use our website and create binding legal obligations for any liability you may incur as a result of the use of this site. You understand that you are financially responsible for all uses of our Site by you and those using your login information.
